A pair of high-powered offenses will square off on Friday when second-seeded Michigan State takes on third-seeded LSU in the NCAA Tournament's East Region semifinals at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The Spartans have won seven straight, including a 70-50 rout of conference rival Minnesota in the second round Saturday, while the Tigers just got past another Big Ten school, Maryland, 69-67 in their second-round matchup.

Auburn has won 10 straight games -- tied for the longest current winning streak in the country -- and took out one of college basketball's traditional juggernauts en route to its first Sweet 16 berth since 2003. The fifth-seeded Tigers will try to get past another of the game's giants when it takes on No. 1 seed North Carolina on Friday in Kansas City, Mo.
Virginia Tech at Duke 9:39 PM ET

After narrowly avoiding a second-round exit, top-seeded Duke takes on one of the few teams to beat the Blue Devils this season when it faces ACC rival Virginia Tech in the NCAA Tournament East Region semifinal Friday in Washington, D.C. The Hokies handed the visiting Blue Devils a 77-72 loss on Feb. 26, but Duke was without freshman phenom Zion Williamson, who totaled 57 points in the first two games of the NCAA Tournament.

Teams that excel on the defensive end of the court meet  Friday in the Midwest Region semifinals at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., where second-seeded Kentucky faces off with No. 3 seed Houston. The Wildcats advanced by thrashing No. 15 seed Abilene Christian 79-44 and surviving No. 7 Wofford 62-56 in the second round, while the Cougars blasted No. 14 seed Georgia State 84-55 and took out 11th-seeded Ohio State 74-59.
