Preview Roundups
March 06, 2019
Missouri at Georgia 6:30 PM ET

Both teams will be trying to post back-to-back wins for the first time in 2019 when Georgia hosts Missouri on Wednesday. The Tigers are 12th in the SEC standings - one spot and two games ahead of the Bulldogs.

Marquette at Seton Hall 6:30 PM ET
Marquette's quest for its first outright Big East regular-season title has been slowed by back-to-back six-point losses. The 15th-ranked Golden Eagles aim to get back on track Wednesday when they travel to the Prudential Center to face Seton Hall, which has dropped three in a row to put its NCAA Tournament hopes in jeopardy.
Louisiana State at Florida 7:00 PM ET
Florida's resurgence and subsequent move back into the NCAA Tournament picture took a hit Saturday as the Gators fell flat against Georgia, losing 61-55 to a team that entered the matchup on a nine-game skid. The loss halted the Gators' own five-game winning streak, but they have a chance to regroup and make a much-needed statement Wednesday against No. 10 LSU, which comes to town looking to avenge its last loss, 82-77 in overtime to Florida two weeks earlier.
Penn St. at Rutgers 7:00 PM ET
Rutgers is enjoying its best season since joining the Big Ten in 2014 and will try to continue its push to the middle of the pack in the conference standings when it hosts Penn State on Wednesday. The Scarlet Knights, who won a total of nine league games in their first four seasons in the Big Ten, followed up a narrow win over Minnesota at home with an impressive 86-72 triumph at then-No. 21 Iowa on Saturday.
Iowa State at West Virginia 7:00 PM ET
With the Big 12 Tournament just a week away and a trip to the NCAA Tournament almost certain to follow, No. 25 Iowa State has picked a bad time to go into a tailspin. The Cyclones look to turn things around Wednesday when they seek just a third win in seven games when they travel to play scuffling West Virginia.
South Florida at Tulane 8:00 PM ET
South Florida is two shy of reaching the 20-win plateau for the first time since 2011-12 and faces a pair of teams below them in the American Athletic Conference standings to end the regular season, starting with a visit to New Orleans to meet Tulane on Wednesday. The Bulls, who have dropped three straight and five of six, rolled over Tulane 66-48 earlier this season but are determined not to look past the Green Wave despite their 18-game losing streak.
Providence at Creighton 8:00 PM ET
Pretty much left for dead following a 4-9 start in conference play, Creighton may be able to reach .500 in league play and is looking every bit like a team that will be a tough out in next week's Big East Tournament. The Bluejays attempt to match their longest winning streak of the season with a fourth straight victory Wednesday when they host Providence.
Georgetown at DePaul 8:30 PM ET
The postseason aspirations for Georgetown are, for the moment, off life support as it prepares to visit DePaul on Wednesday in a Big East game. Jessie Govan played perhaps his best game Saturday on Senior Night, willing the Hoyas to a win over Seton Hall, one that gives them a chance to get above .500 in the conference with a victory over the Blue Demons.
Arkansas at Vanderbilt 8:30 PM ET
Vanderbilt has already set a school record for consecutive losses and is inching closer to making history in the Southeastern Conference with two games remaining in the regular season. The reeling Commodores have what appears to be their best chance to avoid going winless in conference play when they host Arkansas on Wednesday night.
Ohio St. at Northwestern 9:00 PM ET
Ohio State will be without leading scorer and rebounder Kaleb Wesson for the second straight game when it plays at Northwestern on Wednesday night in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes were lost without him Saturday when they were steamrolled 86-51 at No. 9 Purdue.
Clemson at Notre Dame 9:00 PM ET
Notre Dame attempts to snap a five-game losing streak in its final home game of the season as it hosts Clemson on Wednesday evening. The Tigers, meanwhile, have some work to do if they hope to make the NCAA Tournament as they’ve lost four of their last six, including Saturday’s tough loss at North Carolina.
Georgia Tech at NC State 9:00 PM ET
North Carolina State knows the games only are going to get tougher from here as the postseason approaches, which is why the Wolfpack look to Wednesday’s home contest against Georgia Tech as an opportunity to get better. Saturday’s 78-73 loss at Florida State represented the type of tightly contested, physical game that looms as the ACC tournament approaches and N.C. State chases a second-consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.
Oklahoma State at Baylor 9:00 PM ET
Baylor seems to have done more than enough to cement an NCAA Tournament berth and will try to avoid a slip-up Wednesday night at home against last-place Oklahoma State in a Big 12 matchup. The Bears saw their three-game winning streak come to an end in Saturday's 66-60 loss at 17th-ranked Kansas State, but they've still reached double digits in league victories for the sixth time since joining the Big 12.
Oregon St. at Washington 10:00 PM ET
Washington has already wrapped up its first Pac-12 title since 2011-12 but seeks a strong finish to the regular season starting Wednesday when it tries for its 15th straight victory over Oregon State in Seattle. The Huskies seem to be assured a spot in the NCAA Tournament regardless of whether they win the conference tournament in Las Vegas next week, but can rest easier with two more victories before they depart for the desert.
Oregon at Washington St. 11:00 PM ET

Oregon took care of business last week, dominating Arizona State and Arizona to improve its home win streak to five games. Now, though, the Ducks close out the regular season with a pair of road tilts, beginning with Wednesday night’s game at struggling Washington State.
