Preview Roundups
January 07, 2018
Temple at Central Florida 12:00 PM ET
Surging Central Florida hopes to keep things rolling Sunday afternoon when it visits Temple, a team trying to get back on the winning track. UCF has won seven of eight while the Owls have lost four consecutive games and five of their past six.
South Florida at Wichita St. 4:00 PM ET
When Landry Shamet is on target from the outside, No. 9 Wichita State has been unbeatable. The sophomore guard will try to stay hot when the Shockers aim for a fifth consecutive win Sunday afternoon at home against American Athletic Conference doormat South Florida.
Michigan St at Ohio St. 4:30 PM ET
Two of the three teams still undefeated in Big Ten play square off Sunday when No. 1 Michigan State travels to face Ohio State. The Spartans have won 14 straight games, including an easy win over Maryland on Thursday, while the Buckeyes come into the contest on a two-game winning streak.
Florida State at Miami-Florida 6:00 PM ET
Florida State looks to finish a stretch of three straight ranked teams to start the ACC season with a winning record when it travels south to take on No. 17 Miami (Fla.) on Sunday night. The Seminoles gave No. 2 Duke all it could handle in a 100-93 road loss to open the league campaign before holding on for an 81-80 victory over 11th-ranked North Carolina at home last Wednesday.
Southern Methodist at Cincinnati 6:00 PM ET

After pulling out a last-second win at Temple on Thursday, No. 20 Cincinnati will have no time to rest when it hosts defending American Athletic Conference champion SMU on Sunday at BB&T Arena in Highland Heights, Ky. The Mustangs won their second league title in three seasons with a 71-56 victory over the Bearcats last season but are coming off their first conference loss in nearly a year.

Iowa at Maryland 8:00 PM ET
Despite being projected as a top-five team in the Big Ten in the preseason and closing out 2017 on a five-game winning streak, Iowa is on the verge of falling out of the league race completely in early January and headed toward one of their worst seasons this decade. The Hawkeyes attempt to claw their way out of the conference basement starting Sunday when they begin a three-game road trip at Maryland.
Arizona State at Utah 8:00 PM ET

Arizona State finished the non-conference season riding high at 12-0 as one of the last unbeaten teams in the Division I ranks, but the start of Pac-12 play has delivered a pair of defeats in as many outings. The sixth-ranked Sun Devils will try to get back on course Sunday night when they visit Utah.

Southern California at Stanford 10:00 PM ET
After an injury-plagued start to the season, Stanford finally recorded its first signature victory with Thursday’s 107-99 double-overtime win over UCLA. The Cardinal look to carry the much-needed momentum into Sunday’s matchup against visiting USC, which has lost 12 of its last 14 games at Maples Pavilion.
