March 28, 2017
Milwaukee at Charlotte 7:00 PM ET
The Eastern Conference race is tightening to the point that 2 1/2 games separate the No. 5 team and the No. 9 team entering play on Monday night. The No. 11 team, the Charlotte Hornets, still has a shot as well and will try to take advantage of a team in front of them in the standings when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.
Minnesota at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers look to take advantage of one of four home games in the final nine of the regular season, as they attempt to hold onto a playoff spot, when they host the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. The Pacers are 26-11 on their home court after a 107-94 victory over Philadelphia on Sunday and start a difficult stretch of four contests in six days tied for fifth in the conference with a 2 ½-game edge on ninth.
Philadelphia at Brooklyn 7:30 PM ET
The Brooklyn Nets seek their second winning streak in just over a week when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. The Nets went all season without consecutive victories before picking up two in a row last week, and have a shot at another run following Sunday's 107-92 win at Atlanta.
Phoenix at Atlanta 7:30 PM ET
The Atlanta Hawks are stumbling in the wrong direction and attempt to halt a seven-game losing streak when they host the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. Atlanta's free fall has seen it drop into a three-way tie for fifth place in the Eastern Conference, but Phoenix also is struggling and lost eight consecutive contests.
Miami at Detroit 7:30 PM ET
The Detroit Pistons are slumping at the wrong time as they enter a pivotal game against the visiting Miami Heat on Tuesday. Detroit has dropped four straight and seven of its last eight contests as it trails eighth-place Miami by 1 1/2 games for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.
Golden State at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of another 60-win season as they try to lock up the top spot in the Western Conference and homecourt advantage throughout the NBA playoffs. The Houston Rockets, who host the Warriors on Tuesday, are locked into the No. 3 spot in the West and are looking to test themselves against the best in the West heading into the postseason.
Denver at Portland 10:00 PM ET
The Portland Trail Blazers are scorching-hot with an 11-3 record in March and tied the visiting Denver Nuggets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Portland attempts to overtake visiting Denver in Tuesday's contest at a time when the Nuggets have dropped three of their last five games.
Washington at L.A. Lakers 10:30 PM ET
The Washington Wizards knocked off the defending NBA champions in the pivotal opener of a five-game road trip and now take on the team with the second-worst record in the NBA in the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. Washington posted an impressive 127-115 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday and is looking to remain ahead of the Toronto Raptors in the battle for third place in the Eastern Conference.
