Preview Roundups
February 27, 2017
Toronto at New York 7:00 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors are moving forward again after a rough stretch to start the month and can extend their winning streak to four games when they visit the New York Knicks on Monday. The Raptors lost five of their first seven games in February before stringing together wins over Charlotte, Boston and Portland - the last two without injured point guard Kyle Lowry (sore wrist).
Golden State at Philadelphia 7:00 PM ET
One goal is already out of the way for the Golden State Warriors, but much loftier pursuits remain left to accomplish. After becoming the first team to clinch a playoff berth with Saturday's home win over the Brooklyn Nets, the Warriors will kick off a five-game road trip against Eastern Conference teams when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
Milwaukee at Cleveland 7:00 PM ET
The Cleveland Cavaliers could be without superstar LeBron James again when they finish a four-game homestand against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. James was a late scratch for Saturday's 117-99 loss to Chicago and could miss more time due to strep throat, coach Tyronn Lue told the media.
Atlanta at Boston 7:30 PM ET
The host Boston Celtics will try to take advantage of a struggling Atlanta Hawks squad before beginning a critical stretch of games when the teams meet on Monday. After the Hawks leave town, the Celtics host Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland - which leads Boston by three games - before playing five straight on the road.
Miami at Dallas 8:30 PM ET
Nerlens Noel was openly critical of the Philadelphia 76ers' plan of keeping three or more centers on the roster and sharing time among the highly-touted big men, and he is finally getting a chance to make some noise on his own. Noel will try to continue a hot start with his new team when the Dallas Mavericks host the Miami Heat on Monday.
Indiana at Houston 9:30 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers failed to swing a deal that would shake up the roster in front of the trade deadline, and the malaise that overwhelmed the team prior to the All-Star break seems to be continuing. The Pacers will try to avoid an eighth loss in nine games when they visit the surging Houston Rockets on Monday.
Minnesota at Sacramento 10:30 PM ET
A pair of teams coming off double-digit losses of a very different nature meet Monday when the Minnesota Timberwolves visit the Sacramento Kings. While the Timberwolves scored a season-high 130 points in a 12-point loss at Houston on Saturday, the Kings were held to 85 in falling to Charlotte by 14 points at home.
