Chi. Cubs at Cincinnati 1:10 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs’ recent penchant for falling behind early might be cause for concern, but it has made for some exciting finishes. The Cubs rallied for another thrilling victory over the host Cincinnati Reds on Friday, and they’ll try to run their winning streak to a season-high four in the middle contest of the three-game series Saturday.

Detroit at Minnesota 2:10 PM ET
A road trip that started in promising fashion is turning ugly for the Detroit Tigers, who will look to snap a four-game losing streak in the middle contest of a three-game set at the Minnesota Twins on Saturday afternoon. A six-run inning in the series opener doomed the Tigers, who have surrendered 27 runs during the four-game skid.
NY Yankees at Pittsburgh 4:05 PM ET
Right-hander Michael Pineda has plenty to prove coming off a dismal 6-12 season, but he's off to a fast start for the New York Yankees, who continue their six-game road trip at the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday afternoon. Pineda looks to win his third straight start as the Yankees attempt to bounce back from a 6-3 defeat in the series opener.
Seattle at Oakland 4:05 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics have extinguished their home woes against Seattle and look to post their third consecutive win in the four-game series when they host the Mariners on Saturday afternoon. The Athletics entered the set with 12 losses in their previous 13 home games against Seattle but have posted 9-6 and 3-1 victories to stretch their overall season-high winning streak to four games.
Washington at NY Mets 4:05 PM ET
Jacob deGrom is receiving an extra day of rest - albeit an unwanted one - when his scheduled start against the Washington Nationals on Friday night was pushed back because of a stiff neck. DeGrom goes for his first win of the season Saturday afternoon when New York continues its three-game series against the visiting Nationals.
Houston at Tampa Bay 6:10 PM ET
The American League West-leading Houston Astros look for their ninth win in 10 contests when they visit the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday for the middle contest of a three-game set. Veteran Carlos Beltran homered for the second straight game Friday as the Astros rallied from a two-run deficit for a 6-3 victory - their fifth in six road encounters during the early season.
Boston at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
Steven Wright admittedly shot himself in the foot with a career-worst performance in his last encounter with the Baltimore Orioles, surrendering eight runs on as many hits in 1 1/3 innings in a disastrous 12-5 setback on April 12. The 32-year-old knuckleballer hopes for better aim Saturday as the Boston Red Sox look to even their three-game series against their American League East rival at Camden Yards.
Atlanta at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies have taken their lumps in the National League East over the last few years, but they slowly have begun exacting a bit of revenge against some teams that were responsible for their misfortune. The Phillies vie for their fourth win in five games overall and a series victory over the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, just two days removed from ending a string of six straight series losses to the New York Mets.
Cleveland at Chi. White Sox 7:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians are hitting their stride with four straight victories, while the Chicago White Sox are struggling to feel at home at Guaranteed Rate Field. The reigning American League champion Indians look to continue their run of good fortune and secure a series victory Saturday against Chicago, which has dropped three of four overall and four of six on its home field.
St. Louis at Milwaukee 7:10 PM ET
Even in what has been an unexpected and unusual start for the St. Louis Cardinals, they generally can count on curing whatever ails them when they visit the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cardinals eye their fifth victory in six outings Saturday, when they continue their four-game series against the host Brewers.
Kansas City at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals have been able to work around the majors' worst offense lately, thanks to one of the American League's top pitching staffs, but the Texas Rangers seem to be beating them at their own game halfway through their four-game series. The Rangers attempt to win three in a row for the first time this season on Saturday, when they continue their home set against the Royals.
LA Dodgers at Arizona 8:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks have gone 7-1 at Chase Field to match the franchise's best start (2008) and look to continue the successful stretch when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Arizona broke loose for nine runs in the eighth inning in the opener to register a 13-5 victory.
San Francisco at Colorado 8:10 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants will need the rest of their starting rotation to exceed expectations while ace Madison Bumgarner recovers from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident. Matt Moore will get a chance to elevate his game Friday as he takes the mound for the Giants against the host Colorado Rockies.
Miami at San Diego 8:40 PM ET
Jered Weaver takes another shot at recording his first victory with his new team as the San Diego Padres host the Miami Marlins on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game series. Weaver allowed two earned runs in two of his first three turns with San Diego but only was involved in the decision once as the club lost all three contests.
Toronto at LA Angels 9:07 PM ET
The Los Angeles Angels aim to halt a pair of losing streaks when they host the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday for the second contest of their four-game series. Los Angeles has lost three straight overall and three in a row at home after suffering an 8-7 defeat in 13 innings in Friday's series opener.
