Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Vinnie Hinostroza each collected a goal and an assist as the Arizona Coyotes won six straight games for the first time since 2012 with a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday in Glendale, Ariz.

Josh Archibald also scored for the Coyotes, who have won nine of their last 11 overall and avenged a 6-1 loss in Detroit on Nov. 13.

Richard Panik notched a pair of assists and Darcy Kuemper finished with 22 saves to win his seventh consecutive start and improve to 15-3-3 since Jan. 4.

Dylan Larkin converted on the power play for his team-leading 27th goal for the Red Wings, who have been outscored 33-17 while losing seven in a row (0-5-2).

Anthony Mantha notched an assist to extend his point streak to five games, and Jimmy Howard turned aside 41 shots.

Archibald raced up the right wing before unleashing a blast from just above the circle that deflected off Howard's blocker and into the net to open the scoring at 5:58 of the first period.

The goal was Archibald's 10th of the season and fifth in 10 contests, while the assist extended Ekman-Larsson's point streak to five games.

Arizona doubled the advantage with 4:20 left in the period after Hinostroza weaved his way deep into the offensive zone before feeding Ekman-Larsson, whose wrist shot from the left circle handcuffed Howard.

About 7 1/2 minutes into the second period, Larkin was stationed in front of the net as he redirected defenseman Niklas Kronwall's shot from between the circles past Kuemper to trim the deficit to 2-1.

With Howard on the ice after making a stop on Panik, Hinostroza's initial bid to score into an open net was denied by Tyler Bertuzzi.

The horn in the arena sounded, however, and several Red Wings players eased up before Hinostroza backhanded the puck into the net to give Arizona a 3-1 lead at 4:37.

Ekman-Larsson played in his 640th career game to move into a tie for sixth place on the franchise's all-time list with former captain Keith Tkachuk.
