Blackhawks 4, Ducks 1: Patrick Kane scored a pair of goals as visiting Chicago snapped Anaheim's three-game winning streak.

Brad Richards and Andrew Shaw each recorded a goal and an assist as the Blackhawks won for the seventh time in nine contests and improved to 4-1-0 on their six-game Circus Trip. Kris Versteeg notched a pair of assists and Corey Crawford, making his 13th consecutive start, turned aside 23 shots as Chicago avenged a 1-0 home loss to the Ducks on Oct. 28.

Defenseman Hampus Lindholm scored the lone goal for Anaheim, which had won six of the previous eight meetings between the clubs. Frederik Andersen was spectacular in defeat, making 34 saves as he absorbed his first regulation defeat since Oct. 31.

The Blackhawks dominated the opening period and grabbed a 2-0 lead, as Richards beat Andersen with a snap shot from the top of the right faceoff circle just before the eight-minute mark and Shaw tipped in a slick slap-pass from defenseman Duncan Keith 5 1/2 minutes later. The Ducks cut the deficit in half with 3:11 left in the period, when Lindholm punched a puck out of mid-air and past Crawford.

Chicago restored the two-goal advantage midway through the second period on a brilliant play by Versteeg, who sent a behind-the-back pass from behind the net to an uncovered Kane in the slot for an easy conversion. Andersen made a couple of sensational stops to keep Anaheim within striking distance before Kane scored into an empty net with one minute remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Anaheim made a trade to bolster its beleaguered blue-line corps, acquiring D Eric Brewer from Tampa Bay for a third-round pick in the 2015 draft. The move came after the Ducks learned that Francois Beauchemin (broken finger) will be sidelined four to six weeks while fellow D Clayton Stoner was placed on injured reserve with the mumps. ... Blackhawks D Brent Seabrook has recorded two goals and five assists during a seven-game point streak while Kane collected his 12th and 13th points in his last seven contests. ... Ducks C Kyle Palmieri received a five-minute boarding penalty and game misconduct in the final seconds of the middle period for a hit that drove Blackhawks D Johnny Oduya's face into the top of the lower boards along the bench.
