Hunter Dickinson had 18 points and eight rebounds to help top-ranked Kansas roll to a 99-61 victory over Manhattan Friday night in Lawrence, Kan.

Kevin McCullar Jr. added 15 points and seven rebounds, while Johnny Furphy scored 15 off the bench for the Jayhawks (2-0). KJ Adams scored 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting, and Parker Braun had 10 points and three blocked shots for Kansas.

Seydou Traore recorded 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Jaspers (1-1). Brett Rumpel scored 11 points for Manhattan.

Kansas shot 56.7 percent from the field, including 10 of 26 from 3-point range, and had a 45-32 rebounding edge.

Furphy made three 3-pointers for the Jayhawks, who also received nine points and 10 assists from Elmarko Jackson.

It was the second straight game in which Kansas scored 99 points. The Jayhawks also fell just short of the century mark in Monday's 43-point win over North Carolina Central.

The Jaspers made just 33.8 percent of their shots and were 8 of 26 from behind the arc in their second game under new coach John Gallagher.

Kansas shot 60 percent from the field in the first half while building a 44-19 lead.

Dickinson had 12 points in the half for the Jayhawks, while McCullar and Adams had 10 apiece. Rumpel had six at the half for Manhattan, which shot 27.3 percent over the first 20 minutes.

The Jayhawks led 17-4 before the game was six minutes old. Their lead reached 20 on Dickinson's dunk to make it 35-15 with 5:45 left in the half.

Adams scored on back-to-back dunks to increase the lead to 39-17 with 2:55 remaining.

Dickinson opened the second half with a three-point play. Kansas pushed the lead above 30 on back-to-back dunks by Adams to make it 56-24 with 15:07 remaining.

The Jayhawks' lead reached 40 when Furphy buried a 3-pointer and then a layup to make it 72-32 with 9:47 left.

The advantage topped out at 43 points.
