Johnny Juzang scored a career-high 32 points as UCLA escaped with a 64-61 Pacific-12 Conference victory against host Washington on Saturday in Seattle.

Jules Bernard added 14 points for UCLA (14-5, 10-3 Pac-12), including two go-ahead free throws with 2:18 remaining and a jumper from the top of the key with 12 seconds left to give the Bruins a three-point lead.

UCLA had lost three of its previous four games to drop out of the Top 25 and first place in the Pac-12. The Bruins suffered an 81-73 defeat Thursday at Washington State, a team they defeated by 30 points at home last month.

Marcus Tsohonis scored all 22 of his points in the second half for the Huskies (3-16, 2-12), but it wasn't enough to prevent them from losing their fifth in a row. Teammate Quade Green added 14 points.

UCLA's Tyger Campbell fouled Green with 4.8 seconds left to prevent him from getting off a potential tying 3-pointer. Green missed the second of his two free throws, but the Bruins' Cody Riley grabbed the rebound and made one free throw for the final margin.

Green's desperation heave from 30 feet bounced off the rim as time expired.

Washington never led but twice rallied from double-digit deficits to tie the score.

The Huskies used an early 8-0 run in the second half to tie the score at 34-all on Green's uncontested layup on a fast break with 14:53 left.

UCLA bounced back with a 10-0 run, sparked by back-to-back 3-pointers by David Singleton, to regain a double-digit advantage.

The Huskies narrowed the lead to 51-49 on a 3-pointer by Tsohonis and a free throw by Green.

Juzang's wide-open 3-pointer from the right corner gave UCLA a 57-52 advantage with 4:17 remaining.

Juzang nearly single-handedly led UCLA to a 26-20 halftime lead as he scored 21 points.

The Bruins bolted to an 11-0 lead behind a pair 3-pointers by Juzang. But the Huskies responded with an 11-0 run of their own as UCLA went scoreless for 9:15 while missing eight shots from the field and committing six turnovers.

But Juzang got hot again, scoring UCLA's final 15 points of the half.
