Freshman guard Isaac Likekele matched his season highs with 23 points and nine rebounds and also had six assists to help Oklahoma State post a 67-64 victory over Baylor in Big 12 play on Wednesday night at Waco, Texas.

Freshman forward Yor Anei added 14 points, nine rebounds and six blocked shots for Oklahoma State (11-19, 4-13 Big 12), which won for just the second time in the past 10 games. Junior guard Thomas Dziagwa added 11 points and eight rebounds as the Cowboys ended a seven-game slide against Baylor.

Senior guard Makai Mason scored 19 points for the Bears (19-11, 10-7), who shot just 35 percent from the field and made 7 of 24 3-point attempts. Junior forward Freddie Gillespie added 14 points, and sophomore forward Mark Vital collected 10 rebounds.

Baylor senior guard King McClure had a chance to force overtime but air-balled a 3-point attempt with two seconds left.

The Cowboys made 39.1 percent from the field and were just 5 of 29 from behind the arc.

Junior guard Lindy Waters III hit two free throws with 2:16 remaining to give the Cowboys a 63-61 lead. Oklahoma State wouldn't trail again.

An inside basket by Anei give the Cowboys a 67-62 advantage with 47.5 seconds left. Mason made two free throws with 45.8 seconds remaining to get the Bears within three before McClure came up empty at the end.

Baylor led 47-40 after Gillespie's jumper with 12:02 remaining.

The Cowboys answered with a 9-2 push with Dziagwa scoring the last six as Oklahoma State knotted the score at 49 with 10:13 to play.

Likekele scored the next six Cowboys points as Oklahoma State inched ahead at 55-53 with 7:08 left. Anei added a basket, and Likekele again scored from inside to make it a six-point margin with 5:25 left.

Baylor freshman guard Jared Butler scored seven points during an 8-2 run as the Bears tied the score at 61 with 2:57 remaining.

Mason scored 15 first-half points to help Baylor possess a 35-31 lead at the break.

The Bears scored the first eight points and didn't trail until Likekele scored back-to-back hoops to give the Cowboys a 22-21 edge with 5:17 left in the half.

Mason drained back-to-back baskets to give Baylor a 33-27 advantage.
