Justin Cobbs led all scorers with 17 points as the Golden Bears pulled away from the Yellow Jackets in the semifinal round of the DirecTV Classic in Anaheim, Calif.

The Bears will face Pacific in the championship game on Sunday night. Pacific beat Xavier and Saint Mary’s to punch its ticket to the final.

Cal (5-0) also got 13 points from high-scoring guard Allen Crabbe, who was just 4-of-13 from the field and 1-of-7 from 3-point range.

California, which rallied late in the second half to beat Drake, had another strong finish against the Yellow Jackets. It trailed 41-38 with 15 minutes to play but went on a game-turning 23-6 run to take control.

Georgia Tech (3-1) struggled in the half-court offense in the second half. Mfon Udofia led the Yellow Jackets with 16 points and Kammeon Holsey had 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting despite spending a long stretch on the bench after picking up his fourth foul early in the second half.

Game notebook: Georgia Tech will play Saint Mary’s in the consolation game on Sunday. … Cal led 34-33 at the half. Georgia Tech’s largest lead was 24-19 with eight minutes remaining before the break. … Crabbe entered the tournament leading the nation in scoring at 26.7 points.
