Washington 72, Oregon State 62: C.J. Wilcox broke out of a scoring drought with a game-high 24 points as the host Huskies snapped a three-game slide with the Pac-12 victory.

Wilcox, slowed recently by a foot injury, cracked the 20-point mark for the first time in his last seven outings and 11th time this season. Shawn Kemp Jr. added 10 points for Washington (14-12, 6-7 Pac-12).

Oregon State led 34-32 at the half but the Huskies opened the second half on a 14-5 run capped by a Wilcox 3-pointer to take a 46-39 lead.

The Beavers (13-13, 3-10) cut the deficit to 53-52 with 8:57 to play but the Huskies responded with a 10-2 run, getting field goals from five different players to take control. Oregon State never got closer than six the rest of the way.

Roberto Nelson led Oregon State with 19 points and Joe Burton added 10. The Beavers, who beat the Huskies earlier in the season, are 2-9 in games decided by 10 points or less.

Game notebook: Former Washington guard Terrence Ross won the NBA Slam-Dunk competition on Saturday night. Ross is a rookie with the Raptors. ... Abdul Gaddy had nine assists to pass Isaiah Thomas for third on the Huskies' all-time list with 421. ...Washington had 13 turnovers in the first half but finished with 18.
