Arizona State 63, Washington State 59: Freshman Jahii Carson scored five of his 25 points in the final 1:32 to lead the Sun Devils to the Pac-12 road win.

Carson broke a 58-58 tie with a three-point play and then put the game away with a driving layup with 11 seconds to play as Arizona State won its third straight game.

Evan Gordon added 13 points and Carrick Felix had 11 for the Sun Devils (17-4) who improved to 6-2 in conference play for the first time since 1994.

Royce Woolridge led four Washington State players in double figures with 16 points and Mike Ladd added 14. The Cougars (11-10, 2-6) led 28-26 at the half and tied the game with a 7-0 run in the game's final minutes but managed just a free throw by Brock Motum the rest of the way.

Motum had 11 rebounds for Washington State but he shot just 3-for-13 from the field while scoring a season-low 11 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Felix grabbed 11 rebounds for Arizona State which swept USC and UCLA last weekend. ...The teams combined to shoot 20-for-54 from 3-point range with the Sun Devils making 11 of 31. ...Arizona State is tied for second in the Pac-12 with Arizona, a game behind Oregon.
