Oregon State 74, Washington 66:
Devon Collier scored 16 points to lead five Beavers in double figures and host Oregon State held on for its first conference victory.

Roberto Nelson scored 15 points and Eric Moreland had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Oregon State (11-8, 1-5 Pac-12), which led by as many as 20 points in the first half. Joe Burton added 13 points and six rebounds, while Collier grabbed seven boards.

Washington (12-7, 4-2) lost its second straight game despite 23 points from C.J. Wilcox, whose 3-pointer cut the Beavers’ lead to 53-52 with 12:17 to play. Abdul Gaddy had 14 points and Aziz N'Diaye recorded his 13th career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Oregon State, which lost four of its first five conference games by double figures, never trailed and used an 11-3 run to lead 66-57 with 4:55 to play. Ahmad Starks added 10 points.

The Huskies committed 15 turnovers and failed to pass the 70-point mark for the eighth straight game. Washington cut the lead to 72-64 with 52 seconds left, but Nelson answered with two free throws to end the Beavers’ five-game losing streak.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington trailed by 10 after Gaddy ended the half with a 3-pointer from near the midcourt line at the buzzer. … Nelson, who averaged 21.5 points in two games last week, was 7-of-8 from the foul line while missing 11 of his 14 shots from the field. … Oregon State improved to 63-6 when leading with five minutes to play under coach Craig Robinson.
