Georgia kept its streak going with a big first half.
The Bulldogs got out to a big lead over the opening 20 minutes and cruised to their seventh consecutive victory with a 70-55 triumph over Charleston Southern on Tuesday.
Georgia (10-2) took a 41-20 lead at the half, thanks to 12 points from Travis Leslie and eight from Trey Thompkins.
The Bulldogs haven’t lost since dropping falling to Temple more than a month ago and have one more tune-up against Eastern Kentucky before opening Southeastern Conference play with a tough double-dip against ranked teams Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Leslie finished with 15 points and Thompkins added 13. Jeremy Price also reached double figures for Georgia with 10 points.
Jamarco Warren scored 24 points and was the only player in double figures for Charleston Southern (6-7).
The Buccaneers shot 30 percent (19-of-64) from the field and made just 5-of-24 3-pointers.
