CHICAGO -- Jimmy Butler scored 37 points, grabbed eight rebounds and distributed nine assists to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 106-95 win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.

Forward Nikola Mirotic finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds to help the Bulls erase a 12-point deficit in the first half. Guard Dwyane Wade added 14 points.

Chicago (6-4) claimed its third victory in the past four games.

Forward Markieff Morris led the Wizards with 24 points and 15 rebounds. Center Marcin Gortat also registered a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Washington (2-7) lost its second consecutive game and dropped to 0-4 on the road.

Butler surpassed 35 points for the second time in his past three games. He made 11 of 23 shots from the field and 14 of 14 free throws.

The Bulls entered the fourth quarter with an 81-70 advantage. Butler sparked a 15-4 run with eight consecutive points late in the third quarter. Wizards guard Tomas Satoransky recovered from a scoreless first half to contribute six points in the third quarter.

Washington led 56-53 at the half thanks in large part to an 11-0 run in the second quarter. Rookie guard Sheldon McClellan highlighted the outburst with two driving layups.

Butler hit a buzzer-beater jump shot at the end of the first half to shave the deficit to three. The All-Star swingman scored or assisted on 29 of the Bulls' 53 first-half points.

Chicago fought back to grab a 28-27 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Wizards led by as many as 12 in the first eight minutes, but the Bulls finished the quarter on a 19-6 run.

Bulls guard Doug McDermott left the game early in the fourth quarter as part of the league's concussion protocol after he crashed hard against the hardwood. McDermott drove the baseline and leaped for a dunk, but Morris collided with him in midair and knocked him off balance. Morris was assessed a flagrant foul-1 after a video review of the play.

NOTES: Wizards G John Wall (rest) did not play in the second game of a back-to-back set. Coach Scott Brooks said he wanted to look out for the long-term health of Wall, who underwent surgeries on both of his knees during the offseason. The 26-year-old point guard is averaging 22.3 points and 8.3 assists per game in seven starts this season. ... Bulls G Michael Carter-Williams missed his seventh consecutive game because of a knee injury. ... Wizards G Bradley Beal was held out of the starting lineup for the second consecutive game because of soreness in his right hamstring. ... Bulls G R.J. Hunter was listed as inactive along with Carter-Williams. ... Wizards G Sheldon McClellan made his first career start. Washington signed the 23-year-old as an undrafted free agent this summer out of Miami.
