Warriors 108, Bucks 95: Klay Thompson scored 17 of his 21 points in the third quarter as visiting Golden State held off Milwaukee and set a franchise record with its 60th win.

Stephen Curry added 25 points and six assists for the Warriors, who clinched the top spot in the Western Conference while besting the 1975-76 squad with their ninth straight victory. Harrison Barnes scored 13 points and David Lee added 12 in a rare start for Golden State.

Khris Middleton scored 14 points and Jared Dudley had 13 off the bench as the Bucks’ lead over Miami for the No. 6 spot in the East dipped to 2 1/2 games. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Zaza Pachulia each scored 12 for Milwaukee.

The Warriors held the Bucks to 26.7 percent from the field in the first half but only took a 48-38 lead into the break thanks to 15 turnovers. Golden State cleaned up the mistakes in the third as Thompson took control, scoring nine straight Warriors points to push it to 73-57 and throwing in his third 3-pointer of the period in the final seconds to push the advantage to 82-63.

Milwaukee scored the first eight points of the fourth quarter to pull within 11 but Curry knocked down a pair of 3-pointers as Golden State pushed it back to 92-75 with 6:35 to play. Curry drained another from beyond the arc with 3:47 left that made it 99-78 and the Warriors put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Golden State Fs Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green were both rested on the second night of a back-to-back. … Curry finished 6-of-9 from 3-point range and has hit at least five 3-pointers in four straight games for the second time in his career (both this month). … Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova, who scored a career-high 34 points on Thursday, was held to eight on 1-of-10 shooting.
