Pelicans 115, Hawks 100: Anthony Davis collected 29 points and 13 rebounds as host New Orleans snapped Atlanta’s 19-game winning streak.

Eric Gordon added 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting and Omer Asik grabbed 17 boards as the Pelicans built up a 52-32 advantage on the glass. Tyreke Evans recorded 15 points and 12 assists without a turnover and Ryan Anderson scored 15 off the bench for New Orleans, which has won six of seven.

Jeff Teague had 21 points and seven assists for the Hawks, who fell for the first time since Dec. 26 after posting an NBA-record 17-0 mark in January. Paul Millsap scored 15 points and Kyle Korver added 12 as Atlanta lost for the third time in the last 36 games.

The Pelicans ended the first quarter on a 19-8 run to grab a 32-22 lead and did not trail the rest of the way. Davis’ free throw with six seconds left made it a 55-42 lead at the break before the Hawks came out of the locker room strong, getting back-to-back 3-pointers from DeMarre Carroll in an 11-3 burst to pull within 60-53.

New Orleans steadily pushed the lead back out and went up 88-72 when Anderson hit three free throws in a row with 22 seconds left in the third. Jimmer Fredette’s 3-pointer just in front of the midway point of the fourth put the Pelicans up 99-82 as they cruised to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta’s 19-game surge was the fifth-longest in NBA history. … Evans has handed out at least 12 assists in four of the last five games. … New Orleans’ 115 points was the most allowed by the Hawks since a 126-115 loss to Toronto on Nov. 26.
