Raptors 92, Bucks 89:
Kyle Lowry scored 18 points and Terrence Ross added 16 off the bench as visiting Toronto held off Milwaukee.

Lou Williams had 15 points in a reserve role, Jonas Valanciunas collected 11 points and 13 rebounds and Patrick Patterson grabbed 13 boards for the Raptors, who won for the third time in 10 games. Lowry struggled to 8-of-25 from the field and was just 1-of-4 from the line, including a pair of misses with 5.8 seconds left as Toronto went 14-of-24 from the stripe.

Brandon Knight scored 20 points and Ersan Ilyasova recorded 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Bucks. O.J. Mayo chipped in 13 points but had three of Milwaukee’s 17 turnovers.

The Bucks took their first lead of the second half when Mayo’s 3-pointer made it 76-75 with 6:39 to play but Lowry had five points and an assist during a 7-0 spurt to put the Raptors back in front 84-78. Knight scored four straight points to cut it to 86-85 with 1:17 left and scored again to make it 90-89 but Lowry found Ross for a dunk and Knight was off the mark on a 3-point attempt and Patterson stole the ball in the final seconds to seal it.

The Raptors used a 13-2 run to take a 45-39 lead just past the midway point of the second quarter and spread it out to 53-44 at the break. The Bucks cut the deficit to 68-62 heading into the fourth and knotted it at 71 on Ilyasova’s free throws with 9:55 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ross was bumped from the starting lineup and replaced by Greivis Vasquez, who scored 10 points in 31 minutes. … Toronto G DeMar DeRozan went over 20 points in each of his first three games back from a groin injury but was held scoreless on 0-of-9 shooting in 26 minutes by the Bucks. … Knight has scored exactly 20 points in three straight games.
