Kings 103, Cavaliers 84: DeMarcus Cousins recorded 26 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks as Sacramento handed visiting Cleveland its season-high fifth consecutive loss.

Rudy Gay contributed 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field for the Kings, who finished with a season-low five turnovers. Darren Collison had 16 points to go along with six assists and Carl Landry scored 11 for Sacramento, which led by as much as 27.

Kevin Love registered 25 points and 10 rebounds while Kyrie Irving scored 21 and handed out seven assists for the Cavaliers, who dropped to 1-7 in the last eight games without injured LeBron James (knee, back). Timofey Mozgov chipped in with 14 points and 12 rebounds in his second game for Cleveland (19-19), which is at .500 for the first time since Nov. 26.

The Kings led by one after the first quarter and slowly pulled away in the second, finishing the half with seven straight points for a 59-44 lead at intermission. Cousins scored 17 and Sacramento shot 54.3 percent from the field in the opening half while turning the ball over only once.

Cousins and Collison had baskets while Gay made two free throws to quickly push the lead to 21 in the third quarter and the Kings led by as much as 25 before settling for an 85-64 bulge going to the final 12 minutes. The Cavaliers never got closer than 18 in the final 12 minutes as Sacramento won for the third time in five January games.
