David Lee scored 18 points and Jermaine O’Neal added 17 off the bench as Golden State ran away from visiting Atlanta.

Stephen Curry added 13 points and seven assists and Andre Iguodala scored 13 as most of the Warriors starters sat out the fourth quarter for the second game in a row. Andrew Bogut collected 10 points and nine rebounds in 22 minutes for Golden State, which has won three in a row.

Paul Millsap returned from a five-game absence and had 16 points and seven boards for the Hawks, who dropped their fourth straight and 13th in the last 14 games. Mike Scott added 14 points off the bench for Atlanta.

The Hawks pulled within 82-77 with one minute left in the third before settling for an 85-77 deficit heading into the final 12 minutes. The Warriors’ reserves wasted little time putting the game away in the fourth as Steve Blake buried a 3-pointer to spark a 12-0 run and Atlanta went without a point for the first 6:52 of the quarter.

Golden State was clinging to a 48-46 lead with under five minutes left in the second quarter before Iguodala and Curry buried 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to spark an 18-6 run to close the half. The Hawks drew as close as 74-70 in the third but never managed to close the gap completely.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Warriors G Klay Thompson suffered a lower back strain in the first quarter and was held out the rest of the game for precautionary reasons. … Hawks G Kyle Korver, who had his NBA record of at least one 3-pointer in 127 straight games end Wednesday, went 1-for-5 from beyond the arc en route to seven points. … Golden State improved to 7-1 when O’Neal scores in double figures.
