Clippers 101, Rockets 93:
Blake Griffin had 23 points and 16 rebounds as host Los Angeles dispatched of Houston for the third consecutive time this season.

Darren Collison scored 12 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter for the Clippers, who won their third straight game. Chris Paul added 14 points and nine assists and DeAndre Jordan contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots.

Dwight Howard had 23 points and 11 rebounds and James Harden scored 18 points for the Rockets, who lost for only the second time in 12 games. Jordan Hamilton tallied 16 points in his second game with Houston after being acquired from the Denver Nuggets.

The Rockets were down seven before Chandler Parsons hit a 3-pointer with 3:15 to play but a putback by Matt Barnes and a 3-pointer by Collison made it 95-86 with 2:09 remaining. Collison also scored the next two Los Angeles baskets to make it a 10-point margin with 1:17 left and the lead never again dipped below six.

Houston had a 48-46 halftime lead before Los Angeles made 12-of-19 shots in the third quarter to take a 74-73 lead into the final stanza. A 3-pointer by Jared Dudley boosted the Clippers’ lead to six with 9:18 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Clippers G Jamal Crawford missed the second half with a calf injury after scoring eight points on 2-of-10 shooting in the first half, while F Glen Davis had two points in five minutes in his Los Angeles debut. … Houston committed 20 turnovers, leading to 30 points for the Clippers. … Griffin has scored 20 or more points in 18 consecutive games.
