Clippers 122, Trail Blazers 117: Blake Griffin led all players with 36 points and 10 rebounds as host Los Angeles outlasted Portland in a back-and-forth affair.

Jordan Crawford tallied 25 points and Chris Paul turned in a 20-point, 12-assist, three-steal performance for the Clippers, who hit the All-Star break with three straight wins. DeAndre Jordan added 14 points and six rebounds for Los Angeles, which tallied 24 assists while committing only eight turnovers.

LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 25 points on 10-of-18 shooting for the Blazers, who finished the first half with two straight losses and a 3-6 record in their last nine games. Damian Lillard added 21 points and five assists and Nicolas Batum notched 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Portland.

Griffin sank three free throws to send Los Angeles into the final stanza down 95-92 after the Blazers had taken command of what was a one-possession game for much of the third quarter with 3-pointers on four straight possessions late in the period. Lillard sank a pair from the stripe to put Portland up 115-114 with 3:16 to play before Paul and Griffin went for back-to-back buckets to give the Clippers a 118-115 advantage they would never yield, securing the win from the free throw line after a pair of 3-point tries from Batum missed the mark in the final minute.

Each team shot better than 50 percent in the first half, with both sides battling back from a seven-point deficit at one point to hit the locker rooms knotted at 61. Griffin had 18 points at the break to lead the Clippers while Aldridge's 13 paced the first half offense for Portland.
