Bulls 102, Lakers 100 (OT): D.J. Augustin scored five of his season-high 27 points in overtime and Taj Gibson made the game-winning basket at the buzzer as host Chicago won for the eighth time in 10 games.

Joakim Noah finished with a season-high 21 rebounds, 17 points and six assists for the Bulls, who lost a lead in the closing seconds of regulation and rallied from five points down in the extra session. Jimmy Butler had 13 points and 11 boards and Gibson and Mike Dunleavy scored 12 points apiece.

Nick Young led Los Angeles with a season-high 31 points, including three free throws to force overtime after being fouled by Noah with 4.1 seconds to go. Pau Gasol had 20 points and 19 rebounds and Jodie Meeks scored 16 points for the Lakers, who were denied their first three-game winning streak since November.

Gasol hit a jumper and Young had a three-point play in the early portions of overtime before Augustin scored the last five points of a 7-0 run that gave Chicago a 100-98 lead with 1:30 to go. Neither team scored again until Young's jumper with six seconds remaining tied it, but Dunleavy inbounded from the baseline to hit a cutting Gibson for a layup at the horn as the Bulls won five days after they were victorious in a triple-overtime affair at Orlando.

There were six ties and six lead changes in the fourth, Chicago answering a personal 6-0 run by Gasol with an Augustin 3-pointer and a Butler layup to take a 92-90 lead with 32.2 seconds left. Noah added a free throw with 7.4 seconds left but fouled Young on a 3-point attempt, leading to the tying foul shots before a miss by Noah before the buzzer.
