Hawks 107, Clippers 97: Kyle Korver scored a season-high 23 points and matched Dana Barros’ NBA record for most consecutive games with a 3-point basket as host Atlanta dispatched Los Angeles.

Korver was 6-for-9 from behind the arc while equaling the 89-game record Barros set from 1994-96. Paul Millsap added 25 points, nine rebounds and six assists and Al Horford had 21 points and nine rebounds as the Hawks won for only the second time in seven games.

Blake Griffin scored 24 points and Chris Paul had 19 points and 11 assists for the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan grabbed 13 rebounds for Los Angeles, which fell in the opener of a seven-game road trip.

Korver matched Barros’ record with a 3-pointer 30 seconds into the game and later made two key ones in the fourth quarter as the Hawks pulled away. Korver converted a four-point play with 5:05 left to make it a 13-point margin and drained another 3-pointer with 3:59 to go after Los Angeles had whittled its deficit to 96-88.

Atlanta led by as many as 15 points in the first half en route to a 55-44 lead at the break. The lead was 16 early in the third quarter before the Hawks settled for a 79-70 advantage entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Horford has scored in double figures in all 20 games, matching his career-best season-opening stretch established last season. … The Clippers were just 4-of-19 from 3-point range in their second game without injured G J.J. Redick (broken hand). … Korver had missed the previous four games with a rib injury.
