Thunder 116, Warriors 97: Kevin Durant collected 31 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as visiting Oklahoma State pulled away in the second half to bury Golden State.

Kevin Martin scored 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting off the bench and Russell Westbrook added 18 and nine assists for the Thunder, who moved a half-game in front of the idle San Antonio Spurs for the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference.

Stephen Curry had 22 points and Jarrett Jack added 19 as the Warriors lost for the second time in six games. Golden State had its lead over the Houston Rockets for the No. 6 spot in the West trimmed to a half-game.

Oklahoma City took a 60-54 lead into the half but quickly spread it out after the break. Thabo Sefolosha hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to cap a 9-2 run beginning the quarter that pushed the lead to double figures.

The Thunder ended the period with a 12-5 flurry that included five points apiece from Durant and Martin and made it a 96-77 gap heading into the final period.

Martin’s 3-pointer with 9:30 to play extended the lead to 103-82 and the Warriors never threatened the rest of the way.

David Lee was the only other Golden State player to reach double figures with 13 points and 11 rebounds, marking his league-leading 54th double-double of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Warriors C Andrew Bogut suffered a sprained left ankle in the first half and did not return. … Curry (252) is one of only four players in NBA history to hit 250 3-pointers in a season, joining Ray Allen (269), Dennis Scott (267) and George McCloud (257). … Oklahoma State went 20-for-23 from the free-throw line while Golden State slumped to 16-for-26 from the stripe.
