Kings 121, Hornets 110: John Salmons scored 22 points while Jason Thompson and Marcus Thornton added 20 apiece as Sacramento salvaged the finale of its five-game homestand.

Thompson grabbed eight rebounds and Isaiah Thomas chipped in 15 points for the Kings, who snapped their five-game losing streak at home.

Eric Gordon scored a game-high 23 points while Robin Lopez and Brian Roberts each contributed 20 for New Orleans, which completed a 1-4 road trip.

Sacramento used a late 10-0 run to build a 35-28 lead after one quarter, and Thornton scored 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting in the second as the Kings took a 17-point advantage into the break. Thornton recorded eight of those points during a 13-0 burst midway through the period.

The Kings ended the third with a 13-4 spurt to increase the lead to 95-73. They scored the first six points of the fourth, and Jimmer Fredette hit a pair of 3-pointers to push the advantage to 29 points before cruising the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Hornets were attempting to sweep the Kings for the first time since 1996-97, when the franchise was based in Charlotte. ... New Orleans has lost 10 of its last 11 road games. ... Sacramento F Patrick Patterson missed his second straight contest with a sore lower back.
