Nuggets 128, Bulls 96:
Wilson Chandler scored 24 points and went 5-of-5 from 3-point range and Kenneth Faried had 21 points and 12 rebounds as host Denver routed Chicago to extend its season-best winning streak to eight games.

Ty Lawson had 16 points and 12 assists, Danilo Gallinari scored 15 points and Andre Iguodala added 14 as the Nuggets shot 58.1 percent from the field and won for the 15th time in 18 games.

Daequan Cook scored 19 points, Carlos Boozer tallied 18 and Nate Robinson added 14 for the Bulls, who lost their second straight game and gave up their highest point total of the season. Joakim Noah returned from a foot injury and had just two points in 23 minutes.

Denver led 63-58 at halftime before exploding for 37 third-quarter points and taking control. JaVale McGee’s dunk capped a 12-0 burst to give the Nuggets an 84-64 edge with 4:43 left in the third quarter and the lead reached 30 on Chandler’s three-point play in the final minute of the stanza.

Faried had 17 points and eight rebounds and Chandler scored 16 points in the first half.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Denver has won 12 of its last 13 home games against Chicago. … The Bulls were without PG Kirk Hinrich (elbow) and SG Marco Belinelli (ankle). … The Nuggets have topped 100 points in nine consecutive games and Chicago has allowed over 100 in back-to-back games after holding 10 consecutive opponents under 100.
