Wizards 112, Nuggets 108: Rookie Bradley Beal scored 23 points to lead six players in double figures as Washington recorded just its second road win of the season against one of the league's best home teams.

Kevin Seraphin had 18 points and John Wall added 14 points and 12 assists for the Wizards, who improved to 2-16 on the road with their fourth win in five overall contests.

Ty Lawson was 11-of-16 from the field en route to a game-high 29 points for Denver, which had its five-game home winning streak snapped and fell to 15-3 at the Pepsi Center. Corey Brewer and Andre Miller had 17 points apiece and Danilo Gallinari chipped in 16.

The game was even after one quarter and Washington held a two-point lead early in the second before Brewer sank two 3-pointers during a 10-0 run that gave Denver a 35-27 advantage with 7:16 remaining. The Nuggets carried a five-point lead into the break and were kept afloat in the third period by Lawson, who scored 23 of the team's 37 points on 8-of-8 shooting

Trailing 87-80, the Wizards began the fourth with a 12-0 spurt to move ahead and maintained the lead before Denver got within one on Miller's layup with 13.6 seconds left. Beal hit one of two free throws to make it 110-108, and Wall blocked Lawson's potential tying layup before sinking two from the line to seal the win.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lawson was 4-of-4 from beyond the arc in the third quarter. Beal and Trevor Ariza were a combined 7-for-14 from 3-point range for Washington. ... The Nuggets had won 24 consecutive home games when scoring at least 100 points. ... Wizards G Jordan Crawford returned from a four-game absence and scored eight points in 17 minutes. Crawford had been sidelined with a sore left ankle. ... Denver coach George Karl remained tied with Larry Brown for sixth place on the all-time wins list with 1,098.
