Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook had 31 points and seven assists, but also turned it over nine times.

James Harden scored 19 off the bench and Daequan Cook added 17 for Oklahoma City (20-5), which is 2-1 to start its five-game trip and remains the NBA's best team.

David Lee had a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Warriors (8-14). Stephen Curry was 7 of 9 for 16 points and 10 assists.

Ellis was 18 of 29 and scored 30 points in the first half on 12-of-17 shooting. He had 40 through three quarters, but the Warriors led by just 93-91.

After trailing throughout the fourth, the Thunder finally took a 113-112 lead on Westbrook's jumper from the top of the key with 1:48 left. After a travel by Curry, Westbrook fed Durant for a slam and 115-112 lead.

Dorell Wright made one of two free throws. Durant missed a long 3-pointer and Ellis gave Golden State a 116-115 lead with a three-point play with 22.3 seconds to go.

But Durant, who had seven assists, answered with an 18-foot bank shot eight seconds later. Ellis missed a 27-footer and the Thunder had survived a second close road scare.

The teams combined to go 20 of 47 on 3-pointers. Oklahoma City was 11 of 26 and Golden State was 9 of 21.
