The Orlando Magic's newest acquisitions finally started to click in a 123-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at the Amway Center on Thursday.

Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu combined for 40 points and 16 assists as the Magic snapped out of a funk and stopped Spurs’ 10-game winning streak.

Arenas provided a big spark off the bench with 16 points and nine assists in 28 minutes. Richardson had 15 points in 32 minutes and Turkoglu added 11 and five assists in 23 minutes. The trio combined to shoot 18-of-38 as Orlando shot 58 percent as a team.

Arenas, Turkoglu and Richardson combined to score just 48 points on 13-of-53 shooting in their first two games, losses to Philadelphia and Dallas. Orlando had dropped eight of nine overall.

Dwight Howard provided plenty of help with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

Howard scored four hoops during a second-quarter spurt in which Orlando made 11-of-12 shots to stretch a four-point lead to 14. The Magic got 3-pointers from Jameer Nelson and Richardson during a 10-3 spurt to open the second half that provided a 71-56 lead. Orlando pushed the lead to 19 entering the fourth quarter and cruised home.

Tony Parker scored 12 of his 16 points in the first half for the Spurs, who looked weary after a fourth-quarter rally to beat Denver Wednesday.

The Spurs dropped to 25-4 and 9-2 on the road.
