Kent Bazemore scored 20 points, including a go-ahead jumper with two seconds left, to lift the Atlanta Hawks past the visiting New Orleans Pelicans 94-93 Wednesday at Philips Arena.

The Hawks erased a 15-point halftime deficit with a big third quarter. Ersan Ilyasova connected on key 3-pointer in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to help Atlanta win consecutive games for the first time this season.

DeMarcus Cousins scored 19 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and had seven assists, but he missed a shot at the buzzer as the Pelicans had their three-game winning streak snapped.

Anthony Davis, who was coming off back-to-back 45-plus-point performances, finished with only eight points and seven rebounds for New Orleans.

Jrue Holiday scored 22 points to lead the Pelicans, who were playing their third game in four nights.

The Pelicans led 60-45 at halftime despite Davis attempting only two shots and finishing the first half with just three points. It didn't matter, because Holiday had it going. He hit eight of 11 attempts, including a pair of 3-pointers and an array of drives to the basket, for 19 first-half points.

The Hawks stormed back in the third quarter, holding New Orleans to only 10 points. Atlanta took a 71-70 lead into the fourth.

Cousins hit a free throw to give the Pelicans a one-point lead with 13.3 seconds to play. Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer called timeout and set up a play for the Hawks' final possession.

The play seemed to break down, but Bazemore popped out to get the ball on right wing. He pulled up and swished the game-winner, his third basket in the final two minutes.

John Collins added 18 points, and Ilyasova had 15, and Dennis Schroder finished with 13 points and 15 assists for the Hawks.

Despite the loss, New Orleans wound up 3-1 on its road trip, with a win over Eastern Conference leader Boston. The Pelicans return home to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

The Hawks improved to 2-1 on a six-game homestand that continues with a visit by the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
