Kemba Walker led the way with 25 points and Gerald Henderson added 17 as visiting Charlotte ended its latest slide at five games.

Hakim Warrick scored 15 points and Ramon Sessions chipped in 15 and seven assists off the bench for the Bobcats, who have won three of their last 27 contests.

Arron Afflalo went for 23 points and Jameer Nelson had 22 for Orlando, which put five players in double figures but could not overcome a second-quarter drought that allowed Charlotte to pull ahead.

The Magic were within 44-43 with 3:51 left in the second but would make only one field goal the rest of the half as the Bobcats pulled away. Walker and Henderson scored four points apiece during the 13-2 burst that put Charlotte up 57-45 at the break.

Orlando pulled within three at 71-68 late in the third and was as close as 104-100 with eight seconds left in the game but never managed to take back the lead. Ben Gordon hit two free throws to seal it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Magic had pulled to within 98-94 with 53 seconds left when Afflalo was called for a technical foul. Walker hit the ensuing free throw and then two more from the line. … The Bobcats, who were outrebounded 60-31 in a loss to Indiana on Tuesday, got the better of Orlando on the glass 43-36. … Charlotte’s last three victories have all come on the road.
