Harden, considered the odds-on favorite to win the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award, strengthened his case with a sensational showing in the Thunder's 10th win in the last 12 games. He connected on 11 of 16 shots while knocking down four 3-pointers.

Kevin Durant added 26 points and Russell Westbrook 23 for Oklahoma City (32-9), which improved to 18-2 at home.

D.J. Augustin led the way with 22 points for the Bobcats (5-34), who have just two victories in 21 games away from Charlotte.

Following a competitive opening quarter that saw the Thunder escape with a three-point lead, Oklahoma City broke the game open with a dominant second frame.

Harden scored the Thunder's first seven points of the quarter – highlighted by back-to-back 3-pointers – and added six more as Oklahoma City enjoyed a 58-40 advantage at the break.

The Bobcats wouldn't challenge the rest of the way as they allowed the Thunder to shoot a season-best 63 percent from the field.
