Caron Butler added 19 points and center Ian Mahinmi covered for the absence of Tyson Chandler with 12 points and 10 rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench for the Mavericks, who forced 19 turnovers.

Dallas trailed by a point at the beginning of the fourth quarter but took the lead for good at the 8:55 mark when Terry drained a jumper that sparked an 8-2 run. Stephen Curry hit a 3-pointer to bring the Warriors within two with 5:39 left, but Mahinmi hit two free throws and Nowitzki and Terry hit back-to-back shots to push it to 92-84.

Golden State trimmed the deficit to four points in the final minute but Butler split a pair of free throws and Jason Kidd converted his only basket of the game - a 3-pointer with 31 seconds left to seal the victory.

Curry finished with 21 points and David Lee scored 20 for the Warriors, who have dropped four in a row.
