Bo Bichette drove in three runs, including two with a double to fuel a four-run ninth, to give the visiting Toronto Blue Jays an 8-4 come-from-behind win over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday afternoon.

The win gave the Blue Jays a three-game series sweep and a 6-0 season sweep of the Braves. It was Toronto's third comeback win of the series and their 10th of the season.

Danny Jansen and Marcus Semien set the table with soft singles against closer Will Smith (0-3), and Bichette drove both in with a double to right. Cavan Biggio drove in Bichette with a double and Teoscar Hernandez scored on a sacrifice fly by Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

The winner was Travis Bergen (1-0), who worked a scoreless eighth, and Jordan Romano struck out the side in the ninth in a non-save situation.

Atlanta right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr., the major league home run leader, had to leave the game in the seventh inning with an ankle injury. Acuna fell awkwardly trying to beat out an infield hit. Acuna led off the game with a 442-foot home run, his 12th and the 21st leadoff homer of his career.

After a rough start, Toronto starter Ross Stripling settled down to work five solid innings. He gave up two runs on four hits and one walk, striking out a season-high nine.

Atlanta starter Charlie Morton had another shaky start. He pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed three runs on seven hits, two walks and four strikeouts.

The Blue Jays cut the lead to 2-1 with a run in the second. Biggio walked and came around to score on a single by Jonathan Davis.

Toronto took a 3-2 lead in the fifth on RBI singles from Bichette and Hernandez, but the Braves took the lead in the sixth when Dansby Swanson hit his fifth homer, a two-run shot against reliever Tim Mayza.

The Blue Jays tied it in the eighth when Biggio doubled home Hernandez to square it 4-4.

Atlanta center fielder Cristian Pache left the game in the third inning with tightness in his right hamstring.
