Paul Goldschmidt and David Peralta homered and Arizona left-hander Patrick Corbin made his fourth quality start against San Francisco this season in the Diamondbacks' 6-3 victory at Chase Field on Friday.

Goldschmidt hit his 200th career homer to open a five-run first inning, Peralta had three hits and reached base four times and Eduardo Escobar had two hits, including an RBI single as the Diamondbacks evened the four-game series at one game apiece.

Buster Posey, Evan Longoria and Austin Slater had two hits apiece for San Francisco, which had a four-game winning streak broken.

Posey left after singling in the third inning to be watched for concussion symptoms. He took a foul ball to the mask in the Diamondbacks' first inning.

Corbin (8-4) gave up seven hits and three runs in his second victory over the Giants in five starts this season. He struck out eight and did not walk a batter.

Brad Boxberger pitched around two two-out singles in the ninth inning for his 26th save.

Posey, Longoria and Slater singled to give the Giants a short-lived 1-0 lead in the first inning before the Diamondbacks scored five off Chris Stratton (8-7), four with two outs.

Goldschmidt homered with one out in the first to begin the scoring. Peralta singled and scored on Escobar's RBI single. Alex Avila walked with the bases loaded to force in another run, and Corbin grounded a single up the middle to drive in the final two to make it 5-1.

Peralta homered in the second inning for a 6-1 lead, tying his career high with 17.

Posey, Longoria and Slater singled again in the Giants' two-run third, while Brandon Crawford also drove in a run with a groundout.

Stratton gave up 10 hits and six runs in three-plus innings, with four walks and four strikeouts. He made his first start since July 3, after which he was optioned to the minors. He had made one relief appearance since being recalled and placed in the bullpen July 26.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo missed the game due to illness. The team did not specify what Lovullo was battling or when he will return. Bench coach Jerry Narron served as acting manager.
