Bobby Abreu tripled and doubled and scored twice and the Dodgers racked up 12 hits to split the two-game series and improve to 7-2 against San Diego this season.

Harang (3-2) gave up four hits and struck out six while beating his 2011 teammates for the first time in three attempts this season.

Abreu tripled home a run in the first inning and scored on Andre Ethier’s bloop single to right. The Dodgers increased the lead to 3-0 in the second on a sacrifice fly by Dee Gordon.

Abreu doubled in the fifth and scored when Padres center fielder Cameron Maybin misplayed Ethier’s drive to center for a two-base error. James Loney doubled into the right-center field gap later in the inning to make it 5-0.

The Dodgers tallied twice more in the seventh with A.J. Ellis and Harang plating the runs with singles.

Chris Denorfia drove in San Diego’s run with a ninth-inning single.
