Pirates 8, Reds 4
: Neil Walker belted a two-run homer and Clint Barmes drove in three runs as Pittsburgh posted its fifth straight win in Cincinnati.

Alex Presley and Casey McGehee also went deep for the Pirates, who have won eight of 10 overall.

A.J. Burnett (5-2) allowed three runs and five hits over five-plus innings en route to his fourth consecutive victory. The veteran, who struck out eight and walked four, yielded more than two earned runs for just the second time in nine starts this season.

The Reds made things interesting in the ninth before Joel Hanrahan came on to strike out three and notch his 15th save in 16 chances.

After spotting Cincinnati a 2-0 lead in the first inning, Pittsburgh scored eight unanswered runs to take control. McGehee and Barmes each plated a run in the second before Walker deposited a 2-0 offering from Homer Bailey (4-4) over the wall in center field an inning later for his third blast of the year and a 4-2 advantage.

Barmes added a two-run single later in the frame, McGehee launched a solo homer in the fifth and Presley added a solo shot in the sixth.

Bailey had his personal three-start winning streak snapped as he surrendered six runs and eight hits in three innings.

Joey Votto had two RBIs while Zack Cozart collected three hits and scored twice for the NL Central-leading Reds, who lost for just the second time in nine home games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Presley was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis earlier in the day. He was sent to the minors on May 16 and recorded five home runs and 14 RBIs in less than three weeks with Indianapolis. ... Pirates 3B Pedro Alvarez was kept out of the starting lineup for the second straight game. Alvarez's average dropped to .194 after going 0-for-16 over his last four contests. ... Reds 3B Scott Rolen, who is on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left shoulder, took infield practice prior to the game, but there is no timetable for his return.
