Drew Stubbs had three hits, including a home run, and drove in a pair of runs and the Cincinnati Reds used a five-run fourth inning for a 7-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday.

Orlando Cabrera finished with three hits and an RBI as the Reds won for third time in four games.

Trailing by one entering the fourth, the Reds exploded for five runs off starter Brian Burres, with four coming with two outs as Cabrera’s and Joey Votto’s RBI doubles highlighted the scoring.

Stubbs added a solo shot to left an inning later.

Reds starter Aaron Harang (3-5) allowed four runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings, including a two-run homer by Ronny Cedeno in the second.

Three relievers bridged the gap to Francisco Cordero, who worked the ninth for his 15th save.

The Pirates struck for three runs in the seventh on Delwyn Young’s double to right that plated a pair and a sacrifice fly by Garrett Jones to get within two.

Burres (2-2) was tagged for five runs -- four earned -- on five hits in 3 2/3 innings.
